For over 70 years, the creative industry has converged at the Cannes Lions Festival to recognise groundbreaking work, set the industry conversation, and bring key decision-makers together in the pursuit of creativity that drives progress.
That progress hasn't happened without the innovative, ambitious new companies helping lead the way – changing the way things are done, revolutionising the way we work, and designing the tools and platforms for the next generation of creatives.
With the refreshed Start-up pass, we're helping more small independent businesses find their place at the Festival with part-subsidised passes for Cannes Lions 2024. If that's your company, this is your moment to apply.
What's included with the Start-up pass?
Eligible start-ups can claim exclusive, part-subsidised pricing for up to five Festival passes, each including all the benefits of a Classic pass (worth €4,095) at a special rate of €1,145 per pass:
- All Cannes Lions Talks and Award Shows in person
- Digital on-demand access to all Talks post-Festival
- Access to the Closing Party on Friday 21 June
- Entry to Sponsored Cabanas and The Hub
- Selected events at the Festival Fringe
- Daily happy hour networking drinks
- Official Festival app
- Access to The Work for the duration of the Festival
- Complimentary Wi-Fi across the city
What is the eligibility criteria for the Start-up pass?
- Must be a start-up incorporated within the last five years
- Must be an independent start-up, not owned by another business or holding company
- The start-up must be involved in the creative ecosystem in some way - either operating within the industry or serving clients that operate within the industry.
- Passes are non-transferable to partners or other organisations - anyone attending must use the purchasing company’s listed name

When approved, eligible Start-ups can claim up to five passes at a special rate of €1,145 each.
Applications must be submitted by 10 June 2024 to qualify for the Start-up pass. Please note access to the pass is subject to our eligibility criteria – see above.
