Visas
Depending on where you join us from in June, your journey may contain a few extra steps. Have a look at our visa information to see if this applies to you.
If you're not an EU or EEA citizen, you may require a visa. This includes citizens of European countries like the UK. We recommend checking the French Embassy visa wizard to check whether you require a visa – look out for any updates before you travel.
The rules of travel to Europe have changed. Starting in the first half of 2025, people from over 60 visa-exempt countries are required to have a travel authorisation to enter most European countries. To check if this applies to you, please head here to find out more about the new ETIAS rules.
If you require a visa to attend the Festival, we strongly recommend that you begin the application process as early as possible. This will allow enough time to complete any necessary interviews, gather required documentation and address any potential delays. Early preparation is key to ensuring that your visa is approved in time for the Festival.
For detailed information on the required documentation, please visit the official website for the French embassy here.
